Integrity
Online exam proctoring for colleges and placement mocks
Choose a monitoring preset or individual controls, tell students the rules, and review flags next to answers. A flag is not an automatic malpractice case.

College exams and placement mocks move online for the same reason: there are more students than halls. Integrity then becomes a configuration problem and a review problem, not a slogan.
Edgeryt Campus lets you choose a monitoring preset or configure browser, identity, camera, microphone, and screen controls. Review available evidence alongside student responses.
Write the sitting rules in student language
Before you enable cameras, publish:
- Allowed devices (phone vs computer)
- Whether leaving the assessment is permitted, and how many times
- Whether a second screen is allowed
- What happens if a check fails
Surprise proctoring produces grievances. Placement mocks that will be shown to companies deserve the same clarity as an internal exam.

Review like a faculty member, not like a detector
A leave-assessment event in a hostel network is not the same as a second-person voice on a high-stakes coding mock. Open the response and the evidence together. Record the decision.

How this differs from employer proctoring
Employers assessing applicants use Hire’s hiring proctoring workflow. Colleges are invigilating enrolled students. The controls can look similar; the operator, the policy, and the appeals path are not.
Adjacent area: accessibility
Students with approved accommodations need a documented exception path (extra time, alternative monitoring). If the software can configure it, still write the human process. A flag without an appeals path is not a fair exam.
Questions teams ask
Can we run unproctored practice?
Yes. Practice papers should say they are unproctored so students do not learn the wrong expectation.
Do we store recordings forever?
Follow institutional retention and the product’s retention behaviour. Do not promise indefinite storage.
Is every control on every plan?
Confirm on a demo. Do not assume a camera policy on a plan that does not include it.
