Question bank
Faculty question banks for campus exams and placement mocks
Bring existing faculty content into a bank, validate every type, then attach a versioned paper to an assessment. Do not run the live drive from a messy import.

Faculty already have papers. Placement cells already have last year’s mocks. The failure is duplication: one set in a shared drive, another typed into a form the morning of the test.
A faculty question bank is a reviewed, reusable set of items with types, marks, and (for coding) tests.
What Edgeryt Campus expects you to do
Bring existing faculty content into question banks with import tools. Validate imported questions before including them in an assessment.
That second sentence is the job. Import without preview is how broken MCQ keys and coding items without tests reach students.

Item types that belong in a placement mock
Campus assessments can combine multiple-choice, coding, numerical, and written questions. Use faculty strength:
- Core CS / aptitude: MCQ and numerical
- Engineering labs: written or numerical
- Programming: coding with tests, on computers
- Communication: long answers (human or eligible-plan AI marking with review)
Do not force coding onto a mobile-only sitting. See device limits.
Validation ritual
- Import.
- Open five items of each type.
- Sit the paper as a student.
- Check scoring and section weights.
- Publish a version. Stop editing.
Related: multi-section tests, readiness.
Adjacent area: leaked papers
Placement mocks leak. Reduce damage by rotating items, restricting exports, and treating a company-facing score as a new version, not a reused PDF from 2022.
Employer banks live in Hire. Keep them separate.
Questions teams ask
Can several faculty own one bank?
Use institutional process (who may publish). The product holds the items; your HOD decides who edits.
Can we import images in questions?
Published assessments should reference stored images, not pasted files inside a spreadsheet. Finish media in the product after import if needed.
Is AI marking automatic?
AI written marking requires an eligible Campus plan and still needs human review.
